It's the mother-daughter dynamic and the show is usually about brothers and the father-son dynamic. So they brought it in a way that's very personal for the viewer.

Exactly. I think that really affected me more than anything else in the show in the past -- plus, I always watch SPN with my mom so BUCKETS OF TEARS. They did a fantastic job, I don't care what anyone else says.

I agree, I think they definitely are trying. (ahh god now I'm gonna think about that Buffy episode! Another good one.)
