The only fucking character I can't stand on the show is coming back, but they killed Ruby completely dead? I am annoyed.

Look, SPN, I don't *need* you anymore, and you do realize this has been me tolerating your for old times for quite a while, right? Yeah, you got a new haircut (Misha) and I was into that for a while, but mostly I think you're just full of crap half the time and a laugh riot/emotionally manipulative the other half. Just because I'm standing here doesn't mean I'm listening when you talk. I'm not going to put up with your shit anymore now that I have my OTHER abusive show to deal with.

Man, I HATE Jo. I really do. That actress causes me to produce my bitch face.

I will wait and see what happens. What's surprising is that I care one way or another.

I'm glad I'm not the only one on my flist who honestly doesn't care one way or another about Misha. I mean, I like Castiel the character but I'm not like in love with him or anything like half the fandom is.

And of course it's Jo. The one freaking character that I actually HAVEN'T liked - I liked all the other girls - and she's gonna be back. I'm gonna start praying to the universe it's for one episode only.

I know I probably shouldn't do this, but I'm feeling defensive right now. Misha's awesome. He's just a really snarky, funny, friendly, nice guy. I happen to love Castiel, but even if I didn't I'd still love Misha.

I don't hate Jo any more than I hate pretty much all the female characters on the show. I don't care who their useless-girl-of-the-moment is. If they decide to bring back Ellen I'd celebrate that, but let's face it, for every Ellen or pre-'Death Takes a Holiday' Pam that is actually a decent female character there's five Annas or Jos or Belas. That's not what I watch for.

I actually don't like Ellen, either. I know that's blasphemy, but there it is. I actually liked Anna and Bela (and Ruby). I think they have v weird casting on the women on the show which doesn't help. Jo's casting was brutal.

Yeah, they do seem to cast women badly. Although that's really just the end of the process of first conceiving of bad ideas and then writing them badly. Ugh. Sometimes thinking about this show gives me a headache.

Oh fuck, that is seriously...that...the plot had better kick SO MUCH FUCKING ASS because this could be the one thing to make me stop watching the show. If she ends up as Dean's happily-ever-after I will puke up my toenails.

It warms my heart of coal to see some Jo hating. I felt like she sucked the life out of scenes as Meg on Veronica Mars, and that distaste carried over onto SPN. And then they were way too anvilicious about the Dean/Jo non-UST, which just pained me because she could not carry "subtext" or "banter" if it killed her.
