TTTYG is probably my favorite FOB record. There's just something about it that really gets to me. I enjoy the other two, but that one. Yeah. I love it.

This rocks. You had me at ice cream truck.

I think what it is about that record is how unconsciously earnest and open it is. It's not so calculatedly clever, I think, as the later records.

I have to admit that Patrick pov cracks me up so hard because of things like ice cream truck. You know, I mean, he's all *rage rage...wait, weeps at footage of african children* It doesn't get better than that.

That's it, I think. I mean, on all the records you've got Pete airing his business and Patrick singing his heart out, but where they get quite polished on Cork Tree and frankly masterful at producing on Infinity, on TTTYG they're putting the beginnings of that together, and it's almost more accessible to me for that. I find myself singing those songs all the time.

Patrick POV freaking rules.
