Look, Sparticus producers: there were no metal stirrups in Rome. Much less the Republic. No. Do not pass go. I know with a show whose premise is blood spatter and men with no shirts this is a very persnickety criticism, but COME ON. I would lament the decline of American public education, but I think the show's made in New Zealand.
