Hey, remember when I was awesome? Please keep that in mind when I owe you emails/comment replies. Time management has never been my forte, but lately I'm just really horrible because of school. This won't change really soon, so please keep in mind I do really love you and I even manage to read skip 20 or so on my flist, therefore if you suddenly had a life change...I probably am not being a dick and not contacting you, I just seriously have no clue.

which reminds me: everyone I know in school is "Christian" of one variety or another. When asked I was frank telling people I'm an atheist. This has become a conundrum for everyone because I plan to work for Hospice. If I don't believe in god, why would I work with the dying????????????????????????? FLABBERGASTED!!! I don't talk to these sorts of people about not even being raised Christian because it's just not worth the effort. I have had some hilarious conversations lately about "what Jews do," though.

That's the nutshell summary of the difference between being a visible vs not visible minority and why saying "but I'm queer" or "but I'm muslim" in race conversations is so derailing. I have a choice. Others do not.
