Don't leave a voicemail, seriously.

So as part of my attempt to control this comics thing, I'm going to write a column every week on the blog as a kind of bookclub situation. I'll upload a comic here a week in advance and then talk about it on heydontjudgeme so that you all have time to read it. People not on lj will have to torrent it or go buy it. I'm going to start with the Y1 books because they're the reboot on the very fundamental story arcs. So Batman Y1, Robin Y1, Nightwing Y1, then probably Long Halloween because of the Nolan films. I will accept opinions/votes on this, if you think I should do otherwise. I know there are a lot of people interested in learning about the comics the Batman movies are based on and then branching out. I gotcha on this, guys.

I have incepted Amber by having her watch Young Justice. SHE suggested we go to a comic shop. In my experience comics are a lot like what they try to convince you crack is like: one puff and you're addicted for life. I would pity her, but I'm kind of jealous about getting to read some of those books again for the first time.
