In the meantime I've fallen into (yet another) DCU death spiral and have even gone so far as dling the Red Robin comic even though reading just the very first one so far has set me into paroxysms of rage. I think I might have even foamed at the mouth at one point.
I know you're scrolling right now, and I say more power to you, man, but here is why I quit reading comics this time around: I hate the Grant Morrison batbooks storyline SO MUCH that I gave up all comics in disgust. I believe this called an epic flounce. The weird part of this is how it wasn't even JASON-related as I would have predicted if predicting this event. Oh no, no no. It was EVERY DAMN PART OF IT. And also: Damian. That sound is me vomming.
Like all true comics geeks, I take myself way too seriously and do not brook any opinions that are not my own. This includes Grant Morrison, who might think he's an expert, but I beg to fucking differ. Arg, no.
This rant actually brought to you by the new Young Justice cartoon with DICK in it instead of Tim. !!! I'm still downloading, I don't know. WHY AM I?
Oh, because I'm watching Teen Titans right now.
I think this must be what malaria relapses feel like. Feel free to troll me with sparklecocks and J2 recs.
eta: ok, who's watched this Young Justice show? I haven't even seen anyone even MENTION it, so I guess no one. Which is a bit of a shame since it's pretty hilarious. Grade A level crack plots.
