syncope at 08:39pm on 14/03/2011Because I have so many other things to do, I've started writing a fic loosely based on this prompt. I say loosely because what I'm writing is clearly not AT ALL what this prompter wanted, so I guess I won't even bother posting it over there. In short: I am a seriously pretentious individual and no longer plan to even pretend otherwise even to myself.
I have TWO other fics going right now. I never do that. One is an utterly ridiculous story with ~Roman themes and the other is based on this picture which I got from one of you and don't even remember when or why I clicked it (ps this is Arthur's ex).
You know those days that you want to revert to being 15 and thinking it's ok to call people derisive names to their faces in public because you're 15 and you'll probably not really experience too many consequences? Yeah, I had a moment today like that wherein I had to listen to a bunch of idiots discuss how crossdressing was ~so gross and weird and someone compared being trans to fucking pumpkins on someone else's porch. This pumpkin fucking story is abridged but literal. If it seems odd I felt obliged to hold my tongue, you are CORRECT, but some days you just can't deal with the aggro of being the only person in a room who can read above a fifth grade level. Sometimes it's distressing when ignorant-ass youtube comment threads happen in real time in front of your face and you're forced to confront your level of "elitist privilege." Maybe I should take up meth.
