So I was just link hopping on youtube (as you do), and I stumbled across this comment on a Tom Hardy interview vid: im a guy, for the most part i have always thought i was straight, but wow.. i would let this guy fuck me, along with jude law, these thoughts worry me. Best youtube comment ever?
You've seen all of these before, but DON'T PANIC I will link:
Tom's extremely insightful commentary on Sherlock Holmes When I saw this months ago, I guess I was just in a frenzy of lust because I didn't remember how intensely real he was in this. This isn't a "HEY O GO SEE MY MOVIE, BUCKO" interview. I think it says a lot about his ~artistic vision without him ever once saying the much-loathed word CRAFT. Impressive. The dismissive little "but who am I?" at the end blew me away, also.
You may be asking yourself "why do I care?" You probably don't, just scroll like I do when you talk about your pet budgie or the detailing on your car or whatever.
Anyway, if you're asking yourself "why this particular set of videos?" (I will link to a couple more in a second) then I will inform you this: today I was commenting on H's lj and I accidentally started writing Tom Hardy/Benedict Cumberbath rps and then I ran away screaming because I promised, PROMISED myself I wouldn't let this get this out of hand, because writing rps is always the signal I need to do homework or cook a whole pig or ANYTHING NOT THAT because it's an obsession spiral. So I told myself NO and walked away but then I came back after I admitted things can't get much sketchier than they already ARE because I have already lost my entire fucking mind, so what's the difference?
Then I started madly clicking links and landed here wherein Tom Hardy ONCE AGAIN blew my mind with his commentary of the literary character who literally ruined Dickens (and at least half my childhood), and I was smitten all over again. (The kids are the best part of that video, aside from all the Tom Hardy parts.)
I thought lusting over Stuart Shorter was rock bottom. No. That was just hitting a ledge that has now crumbled from beneath me. Rock bottom is contemplating deeply existential Tom Hardy rpf that's TH/OMC about his unhealthy relationship with a buddy who's in university or something. (Maybe I'll have the friend be in the ARMY to pander to my readership.)
Here behind the scenes on the Kleenex ad set.
