I have a dear friend whom I love very much. She likes things I don't sometimes (Supernatural comes to mind), and so I make her sad by not reading her fanfic. However, currently she's on some kind of bizarre streak of writing the most improbable holiday fic.

What are your thoughts on holiday fics? Not exchange fics, but THEMED fics. My thoughts are that I can't get enough of them. Not just in December but also Halloween fics, midsummer fics, whatever! Wait, is this sappy? I can't even tell objectively.

Maybe I'll leave a flurry of holiday kink_meme prompts...
