So to console myself over my super shit week, I guess I've decided to be in fandom again? I have posted
my first wip on a kink_meme (you will be surprised to learn this is light on the kink bit) AND I just wrote something for
the kissing meme.
Seriously.
I wrote all that listening to "And the Band Played Waltzing Matilda" on repeat. You may notice a dichotomy in tone there.
I was *forced* to write things since the wips I'm following weren't updated (why am I reading wips??????).
I've decided that I really like the interactivity of the wips that're hosted in such a way that readers interact with one another to discuss amongst themselves what the fic brings to mind, where people have a whole dialogue without even interacting with the writer necessarily. I think that's pretty cool, and I wish people did it more in regular comments on fic.
