I lied about the soccer thing. My family is very invested in the WC so I gave in and watched some of it, and then had the disastrous ill luck to watch the whole game today. Oh well, I don't really think that Americans should win at soccer on the international level (don't even start), because it's just not our game. Maybe one day, but not now. I really didn't like the ESPN/whoever interviews post game AT ALL, though. Why you gotta shove defeat in the players' faces? Donovan especially. The guy didn't step up enough for you, so you have to make him cry? Fuck off, sports reporters.

I was glad an African team stayed in even if it was at the US's expense.
