Why have I not seen anyone mention The Gates? It looks so HORRIBLE. This is wonderful. I've decided that it's True Blood metadata and that the program is the vampires' stories that they all watch. Some people pretend not to and sniff at it and other people talk about NOTHING ELSE, OMG! Eric watches it and has elaborate theories about why programming made for vampires is so atrocious which he shares with Pam who would rather watch the Martha Stewart (who has entire segments targeted at vampires now, such as uncluttering your attic after centuries of...unusual acquisition of eclectic bricabrac *eyebrow*). Pam will admit that Eric's enthusiasm for The Gates is at least entertaining and much better than that phase where he was obsessed with Hungarian peasant dancing.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaanyway, tomorrow we're having a family cookout so that means I'm starting to cook today. HURRAH in that way that's the opposite of that. I'd much rather go canoeing or something, that way only to other idiots would be in my boat at one time max.

Actually, who am I foolin'? I'm just bitter that I have to do something besides watch Royal Pains. WTF? Has anyone seen this show? It is set in an alternative reality but doesn't even explicitly tell the viewer that, you have to intuit it, like I so brilliantly did. IT IS VERY BAD DO NOT WATCH IT. I sort of love it. WHY?

It's gotten to be the slave in the garden time of year. That's why you haven't seen me much. I find I have very little to say when I spend hours and hours doing manual labor. Mostly because I have said it all to myself already. That and do you really want to heard my thoughts on Stuff You Should Know podcast? Didn't think so.
