Alternative view on women in SPN. I'm unsure I agree with this completely, but it's an interesting worldview. It addresses some of the opinions I have about the show, though. I'm considering authorial intent vs the framework of perception of consumers a little lately. I feel like the dialog there has completely died in some circles and I think maybe the conversation has to be revived. Perhaps there is room to at least hear a creator out and then decide if their argument is valid or not from our individual perspectives. This is how I negotiate Glee, for example. This is a ymmv scenario. As Viggo would say, this is fraught. There's a huge gulf between moral absolutism and ~lolART~ a la that Dresden Dolls chick...ok, her name is Amanda Palmer it took me some time to recall that. Sadly, people tend to knock over the stupidity domino pretty swiftly when the opportunity to be a douche is introduced. (Here I want to be clear I'm only talking about feminism, so don't be rollin' up here with your batshit racism.)
