Am I on crack or did the Opening Ceremonies totally skip Ontario?

And why was Quebec before the Maritimes?

WTF?

ETA: so this poet is the internationally approved version of the "I am Canadian" ads? And I do not believe anyone has ever said "excuse me" or "thank you" at Loblaw's.

ETA (son of): I'd hoped that Catriona Lemay Doan was going to light the flame. That would have impressed me way more than this typical crap.

That is to say, I guess they all lit it? I don't know.

The American hats are awesome.
