Yeah, one term all the way. Spanking the Repugs over their douchey ways just isn't going to work. This is the truth of the shape of our country today: a lot of people are hateful and would rather walk away from a burning man than spit on him to put it out. That's just how it is. How can the Executive Branch coach the country out of hatred? Because that's what it is, pure hate.

I know I'm like one of five people on this, but I don't care about the war on terror rhetoric. They will attack us or they won't. I have no faith in Homeland Security. We did all of this to ourselves, I know that's a hard truth, and like many other social ills, we're not all equally culpable. People get really pissed off when you say that we're reaping what we sowed on this terrorism issue, but why? Getting pissed off at the truth just obscures solutions. Just like when someone says "I never owned a slave" when confronted with racism, saying "I never bombed their country" is not only beside the point but also part of the fucking problem. You might not PERSONALLY have participated in either activity, but your society did. We're all responsible for the reality of our society. There's no tax rebate for being a decent human being, but I would like more people to make that choice.
