Yesterday my aunt fell in her driveway. The punchline is not a funeral (we don't bother with that anymore anyway!), but we have now gotten the requisite holiday trip to the ER out of the way! YEEHAW. [!] Stitches, x-rays, many jokes later, we didn't quite make Sherlock Holmes after all. I slept on the couch last night so I could get up and make sure she was ok periodically, as she doesn't like to ask for help. Luckily as a pocket person I can sleep on a couch with room at the end for the cats.
I am just now reading my Yuletide stories, and I am publically apologizing for that. To the people who wrote my stories, if you're on my flist, you already know I'm a dick anyway so you're not surprised, but if you're an innocent victim please forgive me. I'm on it and I am very thankful to you for stepping in to pinch hit for me so that I had a story! You're wonderful and I love you.
Tomorrow looks to be totally out of control. I thank you, flist, and good day!
