syncope at 12:14pm on 12/08/2009Holy moly. I just typed up this whole crazy ass post about het and slash fandom and True Blood! Thank god I erased that before anyone saw it! HELP HELP I AM BEING CONTROLLED BY AN ALIEN MIND RAY!
Anyway, I was just going over the Wincon schedule and chortling to myself. I'm contemplating writing a Fic Idol submission. Maybe "Misha's Diary?" Maybe I will submit Misha haiku? Maybe fic Misha writes about the fans--
Kelly met Jennifer when they both canvassed for Bill Richardson in Colorado. They both got disillusioned pretty early and jumped ship to the USS Obama. Late on a Tuesday night, lit up on Cointreau-laced chocolates and tequila, Kelly drunk dialed Jennifer.
"I have to tell you what happened to me online today! I landed on fandom_wank over an icon of a panda blowing an umbrella," Jennifer punctuated that exclamation by banging the phone on her desk.
"Not this again! I told you that Smallville was so 2003!" Kelly was pretty monofannish about Harry Potter.
Most of their conversations were actually about how much they both wanted to bang Barry O, but sometimes they managed to discuss their online activity verbally rather than in chat windows.
Of course but WAY WAY WORSE! I would have to invent a fandom, though, and do I want to put in so much effort for something that doesn't involved space or vampires? I think we all know the answer to that!

Anyway, I wish I could encourage people to write True Blood fic for me, but I feel like it's just better not to encourage anyone to watch it. I'll just go lay on the floor now.
