I forgot to mention that yesterday, JJ Abrams was on Talk of the Nation and he was cracking me up accidentally. What a wanker, for real. By that I mean what a typical Hollywood type. Listening to him talk about himself made me suddenly compare him to the Parson or whatever in Jane Eyre, the man who drones on and on about himself thinking that everyone in the room is actually interested.
The really excellent part of the interview was the CALLERS. Omg, Trek fans on mah radidio.
"Zzzzzzzzzmygahd, JJ I love you so much and Fringe is mah faborite show!!!!!!! Marry me!" <---a guy. So now I know who watches Fringe, I've been wondering. My actual favorite caller was the one who asked about the mesa in Iowa. Dude. Were you so fucking high when you watched the movie you couldn't process the scenery? Lay off the pot!
THEN JJ dropped some truthiness upon us: people shouldn't be offended by the portrayal of wimmin folk in the movie because he loves wimmin folk and thinks Uhura was a main character, so what's everyone's beef? He literally said "people shouldn't be offended." UH. Yeah, that's not how that works, dude. Personally, I have no issue with the movie, but I got to CHOOSE that for myself, dicksmoker, stfu. What really cracked me up is that he brought up Alias and his other shows and was all "see? women are always big characters in my media..." like, um, did no one ever tell him what people said about Alias? JJ Abrams is now my favorite clueless Hollywood dude.
Let us speculate about what the big SPN wank is going to be this hiatus. ( My personal theory. )
( Now about the story arc itself. )
Oh god, hiatus, I loathe you!
