I don't know, I don't have much more to say about what's going on now w/ the complete breakdown of rationality and humanity going on with Certain People than I already have.

So, I'll be uplifting rather than negative. Black Is, Black Ain't This is a documentary about African American identity that is powerful on several levels. As an in situ 1990's document, it's about a person who died from AIDS at the tail end of the epidemic--which really impacts me as someone who grew up with that and will NEVER be over my trauma from AIDS. I know we don't really bother with it anymore, but AIDS colored my entire childhood and youth and the scars from that are deep and life-long. I would also recommend this doc to allies who want to feel the texture of the black experience.

Check this out.
