Don't leave a voicemail, seriously.

Fandom in which I would never have read fic for if not for Yuldetide, the Sunday edition: Eastern Promises. I was sort of afraid to click on it, but I was informed yesterday that some of it was pretty good. I was pleasantly surprised. Vincent Cassel creeps me the fuck out at the best of times, so I was hesitant to click on anything that might be his gross gross character having sex, but he comes off creepy and sad in the fic, too, so that was ok. I was surprised at the level of sympathy for Kiril in fic, but I'm often surprised by the views people express in their fic, so nothing new there.

But more importantly: is someone going to compile and upload the Best Of music posts this year? Or has someone already done it?

I swear I'll post something interesting again some day.
