syncope at 03:04pm on 18/11/2008I got yet another email (get several a day) from the Obama campaign and in this email there was a link to leave FEEDBACK, so I said "Yes, I will!" and clicked it. The questionnaire was as tedious as to be expected but I was like "they will solicit my general comments at the end!" and clicked through.
WRONG!
They asked several specific questions instead of allowing for random comments. Who designed this crap? Clearly someone who didn't want me to tell them they send out too many emails! Too bad, I just left it in the field for questions about HOPE or UNIONS or THE ECONOMY or whatever. Some people might have pressing concerns about the world economy, but I, my friends, am annoyed by Obamaspam!
I just spent an embarrassingly long time reading "information" on the Skarsgard family. This might be rock bottom. (haha, she says hopefully)
It's taken me this long to watch Generation Kill for two important reasons: 1. the person who made it accessible in some place on the internet had rules about how they would share it that I found annoying so I fucked myself over rather than abide by their stupid rules and 2. I was scared it would do me like Band of Brothers which wasn't pretty, people!
Suffice to say, I was perhaps overreacting on number two. (But let me just say that I am so so sadly disappointed that Jenn's never seen BoB but she watches Gossip Girl now and every time Matthew Settle comes on the screen I'm SO SAD she can't appreciate his true role: Speirs! Man, that shit is righteous, no lie.)
Anyway, ( Generation Kill stuff (that's mostly my political opinions about the military). )
