I've started watching The West Wing. I feel this is the death of something, I'm just not sure what. Maybe the last of my dignity. I don't think I had any left, though. Unlike most of my fellow liberal nutjobs I hate Sorkin. He just likes his own jokes way way too much--when I can tell the lines you think are clever after they're filtered through an actor's mouth you're no longer clever, you're annoying. It's all just so self-satisfied. I know this because my whole family watched TWW so I was forced to view it from time to time and I would make strangled noises and groan so much I would be banished to the basement. Now that I'm watching it I see what was really happening w/ my lame-o family: this show should have been called Jews Run America...little did I know through the smug dialogue.
Speaking of my idiotic family, Fridays sort of make me depressed. I might have to start lighting candles or something. HAHAHHA omg, I'm not even kidding!
Half my time is now spent writing Entourage dialogue in my head. Ari's really pissed off at his brother for the sidewalk interview where he talked about his parents. He broke a bunch of shit and pissed off Mrs. Ari so much she went to Palm Springs for the weekend.
Happy Election Weekend, everyone. Get drunk(er), have sex with someone inappropriate, and remember that this is just THE FIRST WEEK OF THE REST OF YOUR LIFE.
(WTF, Jason Isaacs was on TWW? Are you kidding me? Fuck me blind, if I woulda known that I would have watched the shit ages ago!)
