Holy cow, what is WRONG with me? Today I: worked on work for the amount of time I absolutely forced to by my boss either being on the phone w/ me or demanding things from me. Fine. I don't make minimum wage, so FINE I will do that work. If you stand over me with a stick. Luckily, that happens a lot.

The rest of the day went like this:

Write about vampire for about [redacted] hours.
Talk to Jenn on IM about vampires [same amount of time as above].
Jog--45 minutes.
Make some rice--20 minutes?
Eat dinner/shower/talk to Jenn about vampires--and hour and a half.
Write about vampires for another two hours.

What. The. Fuck. I'm hoping I'm done with it in the next couple days (the main plot arc anyway because there are at least several side stories I want to do--Devil Business episode, Bob side story, Brendon side story, whole big ass Greta side story, something I can't tell you about, and so on.) The part I wrote tonight is the most ott bit yet. OH YES. This shit's going to get so ott that people who read my Angel fic will be like "I thought she toned this shit down, oh god, what's with the blood clots? EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!"

I just want to say &hearts to everyone who is being so cheerleading about this story. Y'all suck, I have so much work!

For something interesting, go over here to my friend's blog about Comic Con with pics I took. Her comments on the panels are much better than mine.

We just had an earthquake. You know that already because everyone in SoCal on your FL told you. So, I'm all (to Jenn) "earthquake!" and she's like "I'm trying to call you, the lines are jammed!" and then I'm like "So, this next bit of the story is Patrick POV, blah blah vampires..." She's all "turn on the news, what was the earthquake rated?" and I'm like "and vampires..." Oh shit, I should call my mom I guess.

(She will take time away from me writing!)

We're going to see The Hold Steady tomorrow, and Jenn's all "let's get pedis today and go shopping!" and I'm like "yeah, ok, if I get enough writing done."

I'm going now because her response was "Get out of the basement, Gerard!"

I was (as you do) doing research for my fic (and here I want to say, I know the flight schedules from Newark to Chicago, have memorized the Warped schedule, and know who the Cubs are playing for a span of a couple weeks now) and I stumbled across a beautiful, old Bob interview from before the Black Parade.

Despite being an international success, Bryar’s Midwest upbringing grounds him. “After being all over the country and the world you realize Chicago is a great city,” says Bryar. “It’s kind of a middle ground. You go to L.A. where everything is fake and it’s a game. But in the East everyone is an asshole and it’s dirty and scummy. Chicago is the best of both sides.

“The suburbs of Chicago will always be my home.”

Tell us how you feel, BB! Dirty and scummy! hahaha Oh man, I laughed, I will not lie.

MCR/FOB (you know the drill): Summertime and the livin' is easy. )
