Onslaught of Douchy!Patrick fic? That will be so so win. Oh yeah, the context for that was the L&O episode Patrick's on.
2. Mostly, the CBC is infotainment like all media nowadays, but Ideas is a show that manages to continue to be insightful, challenging, and varied. My favorite ever series they had was on Cathars when Lister Sinclair was still on—he had the BEST radio voice, slightly creepy and creaky, like a Harry Potter character. Now the show is hosted by a totally different guy who is all SERIOUS BUSINESS, which suits the show, I suppose but isn't nearly as WACKY. Anyway, right now they have a series going that is an indepth look at different perspectives on Science. Each episode focuses on a different sort of way of thinking about what science is, how people perceive science to function, and so on. I know there are a few people on my fl who are lingering from before I fell down the B-hole, so, yeah, my brain was eaten by a unicorn, sorry. Thinking About Science
3. Someone please lift Ed Westwick's band's songs from their myspace page for me and Brandi (and I suspect Zahra). The Filthy Youth HELL YEAH, that's gonna go on my ipod! Oh, wow, I just took my fangirling of this guy to a new level. Fuck Chuck, I want Ed!
eta: We just need "Come Flash All Your Ladies" since a generous benefactor dropped by.
4. My real writing project is really going GREAT and this thrills me to no end. I don't get excited about my work a lot, and I am sort of high on this project, so expect me to be even spazzier than normal until I hit a hitch and go all emo and I CAN NOT DO THIS. But for now, yeah, YAY, new project is awes.
