syncope at 11:23pm on 10/11/2007I've had a pretty shitty run w/ computers in the last couple years. Well, ok, so maybe a year and a half. My old machine died suddenly out of the blue. Then I go a new machine that has been the computer version of an abusive relationship. This week, my computer just pretty much gave up and blew it's brains out as I watched.
Luckily, this coincided w/ Nate being in town, so he was able to salvage the machine itself and I saved maybe 35% of my data on an external drive. 35% isn't as bad as it could be since I saved my work, which at one point looked like might not even happen. I am lucky.
All that being said, naturally, I lost my music again.
Hi! I will take whatever you have. I lost all my hip hop, random stuff, Panic, classical, well, pretty much everything except FOB, the Hushies, and the Rolling Stone top 500 songs. Yeah.
Since I'm starting fresh, I'll take what you have. I'd really love the new Cobra Starship album as mp3s instead of m4as, though, since I also lost my iPod and bought a non-iPod mp3 player until I get a iTouch. (Everyone who knows me in RL is laughing at the clusterfuck that is my life, the rest of you are probably wondering if I'm having a particularly bad month...well, I wish I could claim that was true, rly? I'm just a total freakshow.)
