This is too short to cut.

At the Sign of the Snake (You Can't Use That Sample!)

Draco was standing before his open wardrobe trying to decide what to wear when the rhythmic banging began. He turned in a circle, but he didn't see anything in his bedroom moving on its own volition. Cocking his head, he followed the noise to his front door.

Draco pondered the situation. Yes, he was holding his wand, and his nearly naked form might stun a non-Auror intruder, but did he really even care who was on his doorstep?

"I know you're there, Sir. Please open the door." A voice called through the wood.

Draco unwarded the door. He respected manners and polite requests, even if he was annoyed to be disturbed. The door swung open, and a dark-haired man in a muggle suit stood smiling in the doorway. He held a leather case and a packet of papers wrapped in blue paper.

"Yes?" Draco didn't allow his snitch pajama bottoms to prevent him from cutting a deadly expression.

"I'm Tad McBride from the law firm of Wolfram and Hart." Tad's smile brightened several points, and Draco was reminded of his Aunt Bellatrix on a more dangerous day.

"This is to alert you that one Mr. Marsillius Malfoy, also known as Marshall Mathers, has taken an injunction against your continued use of his legal, given surname. Any further use of said name, Malfoy, will result in legal action against your assets and estate." Tad whipped the blue-wrapped packed through the air and stuck it into the crook of Draco's folded arm.

"Is this some sort of muggle prank?" Draco lifted the packet with two fingers, and a voice boomed inside his head Injunction received by Draco No-Last-Name-Known at 11:34 A.M. on the 15th of Gladismock in the year cycle of No Repentance.

Draco had thought that muggles used some sort of calendar based on their dead god. His head hurt from the volume of the voice.

"What…" He began, but Tad was already bustling away. Draco watched Tad's pinstriped back until it disappeared into a crowd. He went back into his house to read the papers. If Draco had learned anything from his father it was how to work a legal loophole.
