Also, when I got to the end of this I realized this is probably the introduction to a universe and not just a stand alone. I have other fic ideas, though, so we'll see. I'm pretty rusty, so I'm still trying to figure out how to do this again.
Of course it is. And I type that with a huge grin.
Stiles is like a human superball sometimes with all that potential energy bouncing around the room. And Danny is still the best thing. He's saying the right things and acting like a grown up because he thinks about it. It's not just innate, he puts effort into it and considers angles and feelings other than his own. There's not a lot of Scott which is fine because I prefer low levels of Scott. I don't actively dislike him, I just find him the least interesting character on the actual show. And Derek is still the broody, hot werewolf who is more than a little faily because he never intended to lose his whole family and have to be the grownup. And the Sheriff is an awesome dad apart from not noticing that all his kid's friends are a little extra fangy on the full moon. I am kinda hoping for more Lydia because she was a huge revelation to me on the show. I didn't like and then it turns out that what she's covering up with her makeup and popularity is being wicked smart and competent. I was not expecting that.
To sum up, yay.
Plus I just love the way you write. I end up laughing at all of the subtle jokes and phrasing. Then I end up rereading a lot because I know I am going to smile and care about the characters.
